SPARKLING CHARDONNAY

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

This sparkling wine was made by the Charmat Method when we capture the natural bubbles produced during fermentation inside a specialized tank. The wine is fermented at cool temperatures to ensure that the bright fresh fruit flavours are captured in the wine. The Chardonnay grapes were picked early to maintain a crisp acidity. A hint of Riesling was also added to ensure a fresh fruity style.

TASTING NOTES

Notes of apple and honeysuckle on the nose with a touch of citrus. On the palate delicate flavours of apricot, honeydew melon and pineapple with small bubbles that break over your tongue, beckoning you onto the next sip.

 

 

VINEA

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Vinea, Latin for vine, is a small batch premium grape based liqueur with bright flavours of blackberry, strawberry and cherry with red licorice notes. Cabernet Sauvignon is fortified with brandy and then blended with our secret ingredients to create a one-of-a-kind 'spirit' of the vine.

Enjoy on the rocks or keep on hand as your go-to cocktail mixer. A Vinea Spritz is perfect for toasting at any celebration while a Vinea Cosmopolitan will dazzle at your next cocktail party. It is always a good time to add some Vinea Spirit to life’s special moments.

 

 

'THE MAGICIAN' SHIRAZ PINOT

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

This edition of the blend is 80% Shiraz and 20% Pinot Noir. The grapes were hand harvested and 100% of the Pinot Noir and 20% of the Shiraz was allowed to dry in our kilns for 3 weeks. The grapes were crushed and fermented on skins for 14 days. After pressing, the wine was moved into new and old French barriques, where the wine completed it’s alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.

TASTING NOTES

Silky tannins and dark berry fruit on this well-structured wine create a long smooth finish. A balanced acidity interplays with black pepper, spice, black cherry, blackberry and chocolate notes. Good for grilled meats, roasts, especially lamb and hearty stews. Also a nice evening companion when paired with a sharp cheese or dark chocolate.
