Winemaker’s Notes
Roberto DiDomenico has selected three back vintage estate bottled wines paired with local artisan cheese for our April package. Taste our 2018 Chenin Blanc paired with Gunn’s Hill Five Brother’s Cheese, 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve paired with a Thornloe Aged Cheddar and 2009 Kiln-Dried Cabernet paired with Donini Intense Dark Chocolate. Purchase includes invitation to a virtual tasting on Sunday April 11th or Sunday April 25th at 6 pm with a resident sommelier.
Tasting Notes
2018 Chenin Blanc - Gracious floral and herbs blended with flavours of apple, honey, grapefruit with a mineral feel.
2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve - A complexity of aromas, including intertwining notes of spice, blackberry and cocoa that will evolve with cellaring.
2009 Cabernet Kiln-Dried - Deep coloured recioto style wine. This wine is lush, bold and rich with aromas and sweet flavours of currant, dark cherry and blackberry.
